Eating lunch at your desk could be setting you up for diet failure.
Sitting in front of your computer while you lunch could pack on the pounds: Subjects in a recent study who ate their midday meals while playing a computer game ended up eating more cookies 30 minutes later than those who hadn't been gaming.
This isn't the first study showing that distractions can lead to mindless eating—what's new is the suggestion that the effects persist past the distraction.
